Coupling coordination analysis of water-energy-food-ecology in the Yangtze River Delta

Abstract Water, energy, food, and ecology are essential for human survival development. The Yangtze River Delta is one of the most important regions China's sustainable It great significance to study coupling coordinated development level water-energy-food-ecology in In this study, we establish (WEFE) coordination index system. Then, analyze degree (DCC) WEFE based on evaluation model projection pursuit model. results show that DCC shows obvious spatial-temporal characteristics. From temporal view, has shown an upward trend; from spatial Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang higher than Shanghai.
